Application for Internet Banking

To Ghana International Bank plc (“the Bank”)
I\We, the undersigned having read a copy of the terms and conditions for the Bank’s
Internet banking service (www.ghibank.com) (“the Service”) wish to use the Service
and request the Bank to issue the necessary security information

I/We hereby confirm that:

a. I/We accept the Terms and Conditions and any future amendments as advised by the Bank as the basis for my/our use of the Service.
b. The Bank is hereby authorised to accept all instructions issued by me/us in accordance with the Terms and Conditions [ if these have the effect of overdrawing my/our account].
c. All instructions accepted by the Bank from me/us are accepted solely at my/our risk.
d. I/We understand that the Bank shall be under no obligation to make enquiries concerning the authenticity of instructions received.
e. I/We acknowledge my/our liability as account holder(s) for any overdraft together with interest, charges and expenses.
f. By signing this document I/we indemnify the Bank from and against all and any charges, claims, costs, damages, demands, expenses, liability or loss (“Claims”) which may be raised against it and/or incurred by it as a result of it so acting provided that such Claims do not arise from the negligence or wilful default of the Bank, its employees or agents.
g. I/We have sole and private access to the e-mail address given below.


Having accepted these Terms and Conditions I/we authorise the Bank to forward the initial part of my/our security information to my/our address as entered in the Bank’s records. For confirmation purposes this is given below. Once I/we have formally acknowledged receipt of my/our initial security information in writing, I/we understand that the Bank will send the final part of my/our security information to my/our private e-mail address, details of which are given below.
