Savings Accounts

Great ways to make money grow
The old story is true – money doesn’t grow on trees. But it does grow as you keep putting it aside regularly in a GHIB interest-bearing savings account or fixed deposit. As it does, you start building the resources that let you take control of your life and make special things happen.

Saving made simple
No minimums, no maximums, no monthly transfers. A GHIB savings account lets you make deposits and withdrawals of any amount at any time with no penalties or loss of interest. It makes saving simple and straightforward.

· Keeps your money on hand for when you need it
· Earns competitive interest
· Encourages and rewards your saving by having interest rates in bands. As your savings reach the next band, you step up to a higher rate of interest. So, the more you save, the more you earn.

TIP: Instead of having little pots of money in various accounts, putting them all together could help you reach a higher interest band.

TIP: maximise your interest income by having income credited directly into your GHIB savings account. Then just make transfers to your Current Account as you need to.

Fixed deposits reward commitment
If you’re prepared to deposit money for a pre-agreed period without making withdrawals, we recognise that commitment with some of our most attractive interest rates.

· Terms from as short as a week or for any period you choose up to a year. The longer the term the higher the interest rate.
· Available for deposits from just £1,000 (or equivalent in USD or Euros)
· Earns monthly or quarterly income for terms of 180 days or more. Interest for shorter terms paid at the conclusion.
· Combines superior interest rates with the peace-of-mind reassurance of a fixed return.
